alone. They need the support of their family. That's what the Kid FIT
Connections™
on-line lifestyle program is all about - ways for your family to change your nutrition,
exercise, behaviors, and attitudes to lead healthier lifestyles.
If you do need to lose weight, it should result from all the positive changes
you made.
This is not
a diet book, but ten weekly sessions on goal setting for the entire
family.
KidFIT
Connections™ is
lifestyle change program to help kids and their families make healthful
changes on:
-Practical and nutritious eating
-Ways to increase your activity -How
to take responsibility for your actions
Weekly topics include information on
MyPyramid,
'nutricizing' your
recipes, eating out at fast food places, dealing with problem situations,
positive self-talk, changing your unwanted behaviors, and incorporating fun
activity into your daily lifestyle.
The 126-page
workbook is designed for families to
accomplish one session/goal each week. Each family member can evaluate their
eating habits and behaviors, and then decide what they can and are willing to
change. Set time aside each week to work on the sessions and take the week to
accomplish the weekly goals.
Whether your ultimate goal is to lose weight,
improve your nutrition, or increase your activity, you’ll find that everyone
will benefit from KidFIT Connections™. By making small weekly goals on your

Goalsheets, your family will work towards becoming a fit family! It’s never too

and a Cooking With MyPyramid Family Cookbook. The following
calendar will help you follow along with the tools online. You
decide when your family wants to begin to make changes and then click on
